What exactly do you do? It's simple: We offer technology solutions to food and beverage producers to create unique plant-based meat alternatives with their upcycled food side streams. Our technologies are innovative and efficient and therefore help to save food and improve their carbon footprint.

With our first solution we enable the production of plant based meat alternatives, or protein extrudates, from the upcycled side stream of the brewing industry, the so-called brewer’s spent grains. These meat alternatives are not only delightful and sustainable but offer many advantages to existing solutions

These protein extrudates serve as starting material for a variety of uses in the vegan food industry, e.g. vegan mince, vegan burger patties, protein strips, sausages, etc. Et bon appetit!

With our solution we contribute to a circular economy and offer an added value to our global partners in a growing market. We already successfully produced protein extrudates with our technology. We called our first extrudates “Legria”, because Legria means happy and delightful in Romansch, the fourth language of our home country Switzerland.
