Circular Food Solutions was founded by the enthusiastic food nerds Carsten Petry and Friedrich Witschi as a spin-off of the Bühler company.

Both, Carsten and Fred, are absolute experts in food technology and business development. And with the Bühler company - a market leader specialized in process engineering and technologies for food and feed processing - at their side, they have a strong partner who shares not only their vision but supports them in an advisory capacity

They can count on the long experience and great enthusiasm for innovative technologies of their board members Ian Roberts, Chief Technology Officer of Buhler, Johannes Wick, CEO Grains & Food Buhler and Peter Stähli, CEO of the Swiss Entrepreneurs Foundation. They all share the ambition to produce healthier food in a sustainable way and to avoid food waste in an intelligent way.
